Background
Dr Karackattu was awarded the “President’s Award” for 2011 at IDSA. He was a visiting graduate student at Yale University, USA [Fox Fellow; 2008-2009], and has undergone capacity building programmes in Denmark (Copenhagen Business School), Taiwan (Fu Hsing Kang College) and Cambodia (IGES-URC). He was awarded the ‘Ranojit Khanna Memorial Scholarship’ for the year 2000-01 by the Department of Economics, St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. Dr Karackattu has previously worked with media (both print and television), and has traveled widely in Mainland China and Taiwan.
