Ms. Nagapushpa Devendra was a Research Analyst in the West Asia Centre. She joined MP-IDSA in 2017. Ms. Devendra researches the regional conflicts, particularly in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. She also closely monitors political development in Iran. She has written articles and commentaries on regional issues on several online platforms and journals.
She has a Master of Arts in Diplomacy, Law, and Business (MADLB) from the Jindal School of International Affairs, O.P. Jindal Global University, Haryana. She wrote her thesis on Iran’s rising stature in West Asia during the Obama administration.
Prior to joining MP-IDSA, she worked for Greenpeace India, Consultant at BBC monitoring, and Research Associate at Institute of Perception Studies, New Delhi (previously known as Studio Adda).
