Research Fellow, Manohar Parrikar Dr Adil Rasheed delivered a lecture on ‘Wahhabism and Saudi Arabia: A Fraying Symbiosis” at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on 11 May, 2023.

The lecture explored the tenuous relationship between Wahhabi idealism and state pragmatism in Saudi domestic and foreign policy and focused on the future implications of ongoing socio-political reforms under Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. The lecture was followed by an engaging Q&A session.
