Adil Rasheed Presents Paper on Radicalization, Counter-Radicalization and De-Radicalization of Youth at Conference in Hyderabad

Research Fellow, IDSA, Dr Adil Rasheed presented a paper on ‘Radicalization, Counter-Radicalization and De-Radicalization of Youth’ at a conference held at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Police Academy in Hyderabad, on May 4-5, 2017.

The presentation covered the ideological evolution of Salafi-Jihadism till the rise of ISIS, the differences between Salafi, Deobandi and Barelvi doctrines, the concept and process of radicalization and the anti-radicalization, counter-radicalization and deradicalization methods.
