Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-

(a) the details of the bus service between Kolkata and Dhaka including its frequency;

(b) whether there have been any disruptions in this service since 1999; and

(c) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor?

ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS (SHRI E. AHAMED)

(a) A passenger bus service between Kolkata and Dhaka which was inaugurated in June 1999, continues to be in operation twice daily from either side except on Sundays.

(b) & (c) As per available information, there has been no disruption in this service since 1999.
