Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

(a) whether Government is aware of the fact that the encroachment by Nepal is continuously increasing on the Indian land adjacent to the Indo-Nepal border;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether any discussion was held regarding encroachment upon Indian land by Nepal in the recent regular meetings of the officials of the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs of India and Nepal; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) No encroachment of Indian territory has been reported by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) since its deployment on the India-Nepal border in 2001.

(c) & (d) Does not arise.
