Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

(a) whether Samjhauta Express is likely to be introduced again; and
(b) if so, the time by which this train is likely to be re-introduced?

ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS (SMT. PRENEET KAUR)

(a) & (b) Samjhauta Express is already running between Attari (India) and Lahore (Pakistan) under a bilateral agreement entered into by the two Governments in June, 1976 and extended from time to time.
